bob + paige salon is a small business in Toronto, ON M4K 1N2. We are customer-centric, fast-paced, inclusive, and our goal is to find an energetic and personable receptionist to join our fun, fast paced team. Successful applicant must be able to book appointments and greet clients in a professional manner. Other responsibilities include placing orders, helping clients over the phone and sometimes assisting stylists with some small tasks.

We are looking for an Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a friendly and organized individual, ideally with salon experience. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, washing hair, applying toners and colours, helping to keep the salon clean and organized etc. The successful candidate should have strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Preparing Clients: Helping clients into salon capes, offering them refreshments, and ensuring they're comfortable before the stylist begins.
Assisting with Hair Treatments: Helping the stylist with washing, conditioning, or applying treatments to clients' hair.
Blow-drying and Styling: In some cases, assistants may help with basic blow-drying, styling, or even applying color under the supervision of a stylist.
Organizing Tools and Products: Ensuring the salon's tools (scissors, combs, brushes, etc.) and products (shampoos, conditioners, hair dyes) are ready and stocked.
Cleaning Workstations: Ensuring that stylist stations, chairs, mirrors, and equipment are kept clean and sanitized between clients.
Sweeping Hair: Cleaning up hair clippings and other debris after each client's appointment.
Laundry: Washing and folding salon towels and capes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
