We are seeking a detail-oriented, service-focused Catering Coordinator to support our busy events operations throughout the golf season and beyond. Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage and working closely with the Banquet Manager, this role is responsible for supporting the planning, communication, and coordination of member and private events.
The ideal candidate brings a positive, organized approach to customer service and event planning, with a passion for delivering memorable experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Support member and client inquiries related to events services
Assist in gathering event requirements and preparing proposals, quotes, and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
Collaborate with the Banquet Manager and service teams to ensure event logistics are accurately communicated and executed
Help coordinate the details of Club Functions, weddings, meetings, and other private events
Track event timelines and logistics, ensuring all necessary supplies, décor, and equipment are planned for
Attend select events to support on-site coordination and member satisfaction
Maintain accurate records and calendars for internal communication and planning
Participate in weekly banquet meetings
Provide administrative and planning support to the Director of Food & Beverage
Support floor operations as needed
Requirements
1–2 years of experience in catering, events, or hospitality administration
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); experience with Jonas or other POS/event systems is an asset
Previous private club or high-end hospitality experience is a strong asset
Ability to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedule
A positive, collaborative attitude and a passion for hospitality
Transportation to our location is difficult. Employees need ample time if relying on public transit, or their own vehicles.
