We provide intelligent information management solutions that help organizations gain control over their data through transparency, collaboration, and security. Our Marketing team supports this mission by telling compelling stories, generating high-quality leads, and connecting customers with the right solutions—at the right time.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, and Customer Success, and report directly to leadership. Our culture is grounded in five core values:

The Responsibilities
Think Big: Lead and evolve our marketing strategy to drive demand and build long-term brand equity. You’ll develop positioning, campaigns, and tactics that reflect our values and vision.
Embrace and Drive Change:
You’ll evolve our marketing engine by experimenting with new channels and tactics—from ABM to advertising to event-based strategies.
Grow Together: Work closely with Sales and Product to create content, tools, and experiences that align with the buyer journey and support go-to-market success.
Make It Happen: Whether it’s a campaign launch, event execution, or ad placement, you’ll bring plans to life through thoughtful project management, hands-on implementation, and performance optimization.
Passion for Customer Success: Center your marketing efforts around our customers’ real challenges, telling stories that demonstrate impact and build trust.
The Actions
Own the end-to-end planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns (digital, content, email, events, and more)
designed to generate high-quality MQLs
Refine and define our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and develop targeted marketing strategies to reach and engage these prospects
Develop and manage paid advertising campaigns across digital (Google Ads, LinkedIn, etc.) and traditional channels to drive qualified leads
Plan and execute conference participation, including booth design, collateral, sponsorships, speaking opportunities, and follow-up
Lead Collabware-hosted events (webinars, roundtables, customer sessions), including promotion, production, and performance tracking
Manage external partnerships and sponsorships that support lead generation or brand awareness
Collaborate on product launches and feature rollouts with compelling messaging and coordinated go-to-market activities
Manage our website and optimize for SEO, conversions, and brand consistency
Create or oversee the creation of content including blog posts, case studies, videos, ads, and event materials
Develop sales enablement tools and resources that support revenue goals
Analyze and report on campaign performance, pipeline contribution, and ROI
Oversee marketing operations, budgets, and relationships with vendors or contractors
Leverage AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity, content creation, campaign optimization, and data analysis
Key Skills
Strong campaign planning and project management—can take an idea from whiteboard to launch
Excellent written and visual communication skills with the ability to craft compelling B2B/B2G messaging
Analytical and data-driven—comfortable using KPIs to inform decisions
and
optimize funnel performance
Hands-on experience with event and conference execution, including logistics and promotion
Knowledge of B2B/B2G paid media, retargeting, and sponsorship strategy
with focus on lead quality over quantity
Comfortable working cross-functionally and influencing without authority
Familiarity with marketing tools like HubSpot, Google Ads, CMS, and analytics platforms
Experience leveraging AI tools for content creation, campaign optimization, and marketing automation
Understanding of B2B/B2G SaaS sales processes and how marketing activities impact the sales funnel
Experience and Qualifications
4–7 years of experience in B2B or B2G marketing in SaaS or enterprise software
Proven track record of planning and executing events, ad campaigns, and content-driven programs that generate qualified leads
Experience managing budgets, contractors, and external vendors
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while delivering results
Understanding of B2B SaaS sales cycles and how marketing supports sales success
Experience using AI tools to enhance marketing effectiveness and efficiency
Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
Experience working with or marketing to IT, compliance, or regulated industries is a plus
Role Expectations
First Month
Get to know Collabware’s product, customers, and current marketing channels
Audit past campaigns, ads, events, and messaging for MQL generation effectiveness
Build relationships with Sales, Product, and Customer Success
Assess current ICP definition and target market approach
First Few Months
Plan and launch your first integrated campaign focused on MQL generation
Refine our ICP and develop targeted marketing strategies
Define our advertising and event calendar for the next 6–12 months
Begin building pipeline contribution and campaign performance dashboards
Implement AI tools and workflows to enhance marketing efficiency
First Year
Establish a high-performing marketing engine with scalable campaigns, consistent branding, and measurable MQL results
Elevate our presence at key conferences and events with clear lead generation outcomes
Deliver consistent pipeline support and long-term brand growth through a diverse channel mix
Demonstrate measurable impact on sales funnel performance and revenue growth

The Hiring Process

If we think you may be a fit, we will reach out and set up a brief 30-minute phone call with our People and Culture Manager. Here, you’ll discuss the company, role, and how your experiences and expectations align with ours. To respect your time, we will strive to complete the hiring process and make our decision within 10 business days. We won’t leave you hanging!
Next, you will be invited to a 90-minute behavioral & skills interview with the CEO and another senior member of the team. Here, we’ll dive a bit more into your experiences and run through sample scenarios. This will also be a great opportunity to ask all your questions to the team!
The next step in the process is a Team Fit Interview, where you will get a chance to meet a diverse group of your potential future colleagues! We take a great deal of pride in the culture we are trying to foster, and we want to make sure you’ll fit right in. Bring all the questions you can think of about the team!
The final stage – a one-on-one meeting with our CEO. Here, you’ll chat about the role and the company vision. If you are in the Vancouver area, this meeting will typically be done over lunch.
