Education:

Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science.
Certifications like Microsoft Certified, ITIL (a plus).

May require after-hours support for critical issues.

Required Skills \& Qualifications:

Experience: 10 years in on-floor support, helpdesk, or IT technician roles.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Windows 10/11, macOS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory.
Knowledge of hardware repair, TCP/IP, VPN, and remote support tools.
Familiarity with ticketing systems.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Administrator to provide on-floor technical support to end users while also managing and maintaining server infrastructure at our data center. This dual-role position demands hands-on experience in troubleshooting user issues, maintaining systems uptime, and ensuring secure and efficient data center operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support \& Troubleshooting:

Provide Level 1/Level 2/Level 3 IT support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and software.
Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues (Windows, macOS, MS Office, VPN, etc.).
Troubleshoot network connectivity, printers, and remote access problems.
Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT teams when necessary.
Provide remote hands for server infra hosted in Datacenters when required.

System Installation \& Maintenance:

Install, configure, and upgrade OS, drivers, and enterprise applications.
Set up and deploy new workstations, servers, peripherals, and mobile devices.
Perform system imaging, patch management, and software deployments.

User Assistance \& Training:

Assist employees with password resets, account access, and email setup.
Guide users on basic IT best practices and self-help troubleshooting.
Provide basic training on new software/hardware when required.

Asset \& Inventory Management:

Maintain records of IT equipment, licenses, and warranties.
Track and manage spare parts and replacement inventory.

Security \& Compliance:

Ensure systems comply with company security policies.
Assist in virus/malware removal and security updates.

End-User \& On-Floor Support:

Provide day-to-day technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
Resolve hardware and software issues, including OS, application, and connectivity problems.
Assist users with system access, password resets, and configuration support.
Maintain incident and request logs using ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).

Data Center \& Server Infrastructure:

Monitor and manage server performance, backups, patching, and availability.
Perform installations, upgrades, and maintenance of physical and virtual servers.
Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and user provisioning.
Troubleshoot network and server-related issues at the data center level.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware, cabling, and infrastructure needs.
Maintain system documentation and operational procedures.
