Eventscape has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Welder (Custom Metal
Fabricator) to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be an elite
craftsperson and natural leader, with experience with all aspects of
architectural metalwork fabrication and familiarity with a variety of materials.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The custom metal fabricator position will:
* manufacture and assemble high-quality custom structures
* analyze drawings and specifications
* plan and execute fabrication strategies; oversee and manage junior
fabricators and assistants
* use a variety of tools and equipment to measure, cut, form, fit, tack, and
weld components
* inspect grooves, angles, gap allowances using precision measuring instruments
* perform aluminum and steel TIG and MIG welding
* monitor quality and ensure each piece is fabricated to a high standard
* ensure safe work practices are adhered to
ABOUT YOU
To succeed in this role, you must have:
* training or equivalent experience in different welding processes
* at least two years' experience as metal fabricator
* a passion for challenging fabrication and tight tolerances
* a superior attention to detail
* amazing problem-solving skills
* competency in reading and interpreting blueprints/drawings
* knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques
* a willingness to collaborate and work as a team
