Skilled Labourer (Drywall Installer/Finisher, Painter, Handyman) Furcon Mississauga, ON Furcon is seeking a motivated, hard-working individual to join our growing team as a Construction Worker on our Reinstatement team. This is an exciting role for anyone who has knowledge and experience in construction work, with opportunities for career advancement within Furcon. This is a full-time, permanent position paying a wage of $26-$35/hour. The role offers competitive payment. benefits and overtime opportunities. Duties & Responsibilities General contracting work in various settings, including hospitals and schools Drywall installation and finishing (taping) Framing Ceiling grid (t-bar) installation Demolition and waste removal Construction of hoarding and enclosures Painting Clean-up and teardown Ensuring all health and safety practices are followed Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) experience (considered a strong asset) Other construction duties, as required Required Qualifications Education High school diploma (preferred) or higher Employment Experience 5+ year(s) construction work experience Experience with framing Experience with drywall installation Experience with taping/drywall finishing work Experience with blueprint reading considered an asset, but not mandatory.
