Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Director of Engineering, the Sales Representative thrives in a fast-paced environment, builds strong client relationships, and is passionate about delivering high-value solutions tailored to client needs. Qualtech is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Sales Representative to join our team based in Calgary. This role is pivotal in driving business development and expanding our presence across Western Canada.

Sales Component

Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Western Canada;
Promote Qualtech’s full suite of products and services to prospective and existing clients, with a strong emphasis on establishing and nurturing long-term customer relationships within the region;
Become the trusted point of contact for clients;
Actively identifying and generating leads for capital expenditure (CapEx) projects;
Prioritizing equipment sales, sanitary installations, and distribution opportunitie ;
Execute a consultative sales process to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions;
Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline and accurate forecasts using CRM tools;
Collaborate with internal teams to design proposals and respond to technical tenders;
Ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and post-sale support;
Represent Qualtech at trade shows, industry events, and promotional activities;
Stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings, and industry innovations;
Perform all other related tasks.

Academic Requirements

Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.

Required Profile

Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the agri-food or industrial sector;
Strong communication and presentation skills in English; French is an asset;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce);
Ability to travel extensively (up to 70%) across Western Canada;
Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills.
