Role Summary This position is responsible for shipping and receiving. May load and off-load oil tankers. This position will also assist with various other shipping, receiving and housekeeping functions as required. Duties and responsibilities Compares quantity and identification numbers of product against orders Assembles containers or selects preassembled containers to ship goods Affixes identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments Prepares courier bills of lading Verifies receipt of shipments against bills of lading Records shortages and rejects damaged goods May oversee the loading and unloading of product into or from vehicles May take or assist in taking inventories Transports goods via hand truck or forklift When assigned to work in the Food Grade warehouse adheres to all requirements of the Food Safety Programs and the prerequisite programs as documented in workplace specific Food Safety procedures.
