IBG is a leading innovator in the cosmetics industry, dedicated to creating
sustainable, high-quality packaging solutions that enhance the consumer
experience. We are looking for a talented Senior Packaging Engineer to join our
dynamic team and drive the development of cutting-edge packaging designs.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
* Lead design and development of innovative packaging solutions for cosmetic
products, ensuring they meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product
development, marketing, creative and manufacturing, to ensure packaging
designs align with brand guidelines and product specifications.
* Conduct feasibility studies and create prototypes to test the performance and
suitability of packaging designs.
* Research and recommend materials that are cost-effective, sustainable, and
meet product needs.
* Ensure all packaging designs comply with regulatory and industry standards
for safety and efficiency.
* Monitor the packaging process during production to ensure efficiency and
quality.
* Document the design and development process for future reference and
improvements.
* Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in packaging technology
and materials.
* Contribute to quality specification development and reviews.
ABOUT YOU
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Packaging Engineering,
Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in packaging design, preferably in the
cosmetics industry.
* Strong understanding of materials science and sustainable packaging
solutions.
* Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* Experience with injection molding, blow molding, and other key packaging
manufacturing processes.
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements for cosmetic packaging.
* Experience working with international suppliers and manufacturers.
* Bilingual in Mandarin/English and/or Korean/English is a bonus.

$120,000 depending on experience
