About The Role

As our first marketing hire, this person will build the foundations for our growing brand. This is a role for someone who wants to build a strategy but is also comfortable creating content and executing all the steps to see that strategy through.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Building

Better define our brand voice
Create collateral that aligns with this brand voice

Canadian PR

Identify and leverage PR opportunities
Drive the creation of written, video and photo content

Social Media

Create photo and video content for Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.
Engage and manage our online communities.

Events, Competitions, and Awards

Identify events for our team to participate in or showcase at
Design and order collateral including giveaway items, backdrops, etc.
Organize private events and tastings

Data Tracking

Track success of initiatives.
Share progress with senior leadership and team.

Qualifications

2-5 years of demonstrated experience in marketing for startups, consulting, or agency.
Excellent verbal and written communication is a necessity.
Superb organizational and project management skills.
Experience in startups or restaurants is a strong plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
