Job Description Dispatcher/ Logistics Coordinator Location Brampton, ON L6P 2K7 :

We are currently hiring for a highly motivated and dedicated individual for the position of a Dispatcher in our organization. We are looking for someone who has experience with booking loads and interacting with customers.

Work Schedule

Evenings
Nights
Weekends

Duties and Responsibilities:

Book loads using load boards (Loadlink, DAT)
Reach out to customers and use their loadboards
Communicate with customers via phone/ emails
Provide updates to customers for duration of the shipment
Pay attention to details and work well under pressure
Communicate with drivers regarding the shipment
Must be able to build professional relationships with customers

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum 1 year dispatching experience
Must have knowledge of both US and Canada market
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of dry and temperature controlled shipments
Knowledge of FTL and LTL loads
Knowledge of Hours-of-Service regulations
Must be team player and able to work in a fast pace environment
Must possess great organizational skills
Having experience with Amazon loadboard would be an asset

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
