We are currently seeking the following professional to join our team: Job Title: Service Administrator – Flex (Floater) Department: Advice & Assessment Branch Location: Peel CAS, 25 Capston Dr. Mississauga, Ontario Application Deadline: August 25, 2025 Hourly Grade: 13 Union ($29.86 - $37.10) Please note: contract duration may be subject to change. SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting to the Supervisor, Service Administration, the Service Administrator (Flex) position, provides a variety of administrative support for assigned service areas within the Advice and Assessment, PACCB and Permanency Branches. PRINCIPLES RESPONSIBILITIES Answers calls, as required, for general inquiries and departmental coverage. Provides administrative support for agency initiatives upon request. Provides back up for administrative positions, as well as administrative assistance/support to teams at satellite offices during vacation, illness, planned/unplanned absences etc. Ability to transfer to the different Service Administrator functions as required. Administrates the business records for assigned area, as required. Attends meetings and processes minutes, as required. Assists in obtaining supplies and inventory as required. Utilizes general office equipment such as agency copiers, printers, and scanners. Any other duties as assigned. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent telephone manner Ability to work independently, as well as contribute to a team Excellent organizational and time management skills Bilingual in French and English is an asset. QUALIFICATIONS Post-secondary diploma in office/business administration and 2-3 years related experience. Please note: contract duration may be subject to change. OR In exceptional circumstances, other educational qualifications together with progressive experience, that in the opinion of the Service Director constitutes adequate and suitable preparation for the position.
