ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist SCADA Group Leader in developing control and integration solutions for customers
Responsible for troubleshooting and field testing of SCADA panels
Execute SCADA projects including PLC/SCADA programming and database configuration
Position requires some travel, including potential international travel, to job sites
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control System Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related engineering disciplines
7+ years industry experience, preferably in the renewable energy industry.
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols, such as Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, DNP3.0, Ethernet/IP
Knowledge of Communication Networking, IP, TCP, firewall/router configuration, etc.
Proven ability to work under pressure, flexibility, and accommodation of tight deadlines
Proven ability to take initiative researching and solving problems, multitasking, and escalating issues when appropriate
Good communication and interpersonal skills with ability to efficiently communicate and report at all levels
Familiarity with IEC 61131 based programming languages (ladder logic, structured text), familiarity with SEL RTAC/Allen Bradley ControlLogix platform a plus
Previous experience with Industrial SCADA platforms (GE Cimplicity, Wonderware, Ignition, etc.)
Previous experience configuring industrial gateways/field IO a plus
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook
Ability to travel up to 30%
