Our clients sell premium physical products—think fire pits, backyard greenhouses, artisan rugs, and Hi-Fi audio equipment. We help them transform underperforming online stores into polished, high-converting brand experiences that build trust and increase revenue. Our mission is simple: turn browsers into customers. Who We’re Looking For We’re hiring a conversion-savvy eCommerce content specialist who can write like a strategist and think like a buyer. You're not just a writer—you’re a digital sales architect. You understand the emotional complexity of high-ticket buying decisions and know how to use content to build trust, clarify value, and guide people to purchase. This is not a junior copywriting role churning out generic SEO blogs. You’ll collaborate with our creative and strategy teams to craft high-impact content that directly supports our clients’ sales and marketing goals. Responsibilities * Write conversion-optimized website content: product pages, collection intros, About Us pages, and landing pages. * Collaborate with our email marketers to develop content that can be used in campaigns & flows.  * Collaborate on quarterly promotion plans and content calendars across multiple client accounts. * Interview business owners and customers to craft authentic customer stories and testimonials * Optimize existing content for clarity, hierarchy, and engagement (not just keywords) * Ensure brand voice consistency across all assets. * Apply best practices in high-ticket UX writing, persuasive frameworks, and storytelling for luxury/premium brands What You Bring * 3+ years of e-commerce copywriting experience, preferably in home, garden, or luxury consumer categories * Proven success writing for high-AOV or considered-purchase products ($500+) * Deep understanding of the Shopify platform and customer buying behavior * Experience writing for multiple stages of the customer journey: awareness, consideration, conversion, and retention * Ability to balance brand personality with conversion goals * Comfort working with project management tools like ClickUp * Self-directed, reliable, curious, and coachable * Bonus: Familiarity with Klaviyo, Hotjar, or GA4 data to inform copy decisions This Role Is Ideal If You... * Are a strategic thinker who sees content as part of a bigger conversion system * Have an eye for online store UX, not just words * Are obsessed with clarity, trust-building, and hierarchy * Enjoy working with small, collaborative teams * Love helping good brands grow with great storytelling What You’ll Get * Flexibility: Work from anywhere on a schedule that suits you * Meaningful projects: Work with purpose-driven premium brands * Growth: Collaborate with a team of seasoned strategists, designers, and marketers * Predictability: Join a team that plans in 90-day cycles (no chaos culture) * Creative freedom: Your insights are valued—not micromanaged How to Apply Send your portfolio, resume, and a short Loom video telling us why you're a perfect fit for this role to hr@shopinnovator.com.
