The Canada Sales and Marketing Specialist will manage key relationships and oversee operational responsibilities related to Canadian distributors and customers. This role coordinates closely with Operations and Supply Chain teams to verify efficient processing of customer purchase orders (POs), maintains the French content database, recommends assortment expansions, and introduces French products in collaboration with France and Supply/Ops teams. The Specialist also supports sales initiatives, including presentations, training sessions, sample management, and retail setups.

Critical tasks include managing the Canadian price list, promotional calendar, compiling weekly POS reports, tracking promotional effectiveness, and assisting with monthly forecasting. Collaboration with Trade Marketing to execute retail and digital marketing campaigns, creating and managing both permanent and seasonal displays, and coordinating with local corrugate suppliers and distribution partners is essential. Additionally, the Specialist actively manages Canadian social media channels, communicates product launches via newsletters, and supports event coordination and trade show participation. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills, proactive communication, and a collaborative approach across sales and marketing functions.

Travel requirements are expected to be 10-20% and this position reports to the Head of Sales Canada.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Account Operations:

Maintain day-to-day relationships with distributor replenishment and buying teams.
Coordinate customer purchase orders (POs) with Operations and Supply Chain teams.
Act as liaison for customer PO adjustments between Operations and customers.
Manage retailer website content including assortment, imagery and copy
Support sales presentations, training sessions, sample distribution, and retail setups.
Maintain and update Canadian price lists and promotional calendars.
Verify all item, display, and promotional information is accurate and updated for each key account.
Assist in preparation for customer visits and team meetings to support brand and strengthen key account relationships.
Support marketing and ecommerce initiatives within the key account channel.
Manage product assortments on customer websites, monitoring third-party resellers for MAP violations.
Develop excellent relationships with accounts and external agencies, addressing account inquiries effectively and escalating as needed.
Maintain French-language content database for online retail platforms.
Recommend expansions for French-language product assortments.
Facilitate introductions of French items with France and Supply/Ops teams.
Work closely with Customer Happiness, Supply, and Licensing teams on schedules for new product launches.
Collaborate with internal teams to collect and communicate developments in new products and content.

Sales Data:

Compile and analyze weekly POS reporting.
Track promotional campaign performance and effectiveness.
Assist with monthly sales forecasting.

Marketing Collaboration:

Partner with Trade Marketing for execution of retailer marketing initiatives, including displays, event flyers, specific retail events, and digital marketing campaigns.
Manage creation and execution of permanent and seasonal corrugated displays.
Coordinate with local corrugate suppliers.
Oversee pallet creation, assembly, and execution with Canadian distribution partners.
Actively manage and monitor Canadian social media channels (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, private groups, YouTube).
Adapt and localize content from the US team for Canadian audiences.
Maintain and engage through the social media calendar.
Communicate product launches through newsletters tailored for Canadian independent and specialty accounts.
Plan and execute Canada-specific events such as Santa Claus Parade and in-store demonstrations.
Attend trade shows and events as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a sales or marketing role.
Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail and design.
Proven capability in managing multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel intermediate level), Google Suite, Slack, and project management tools (e.g., Miro, Asana).
Strong collaboration skills, ability to take direction, and independence when required.
Bilingual in French and English strongly preferred.
Enthusiasm for supporting and growing brands in the Canadian market.
Previous experience with Walmart will be given high consideration.
