Civil Science is seeking a qualified CAD Designer to join our St. George, Utah team. In this exciting role you will work closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and other project team members to design a variety of civil engineering projects. Project types include large-scale land development, infrastructure, transportation, and municipal utilities. The ideal candidate for this position is someone that excels in a fast-paced, self-directed environment. Responsibilities
- Create and modify detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings based on project specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure designs meet project requirements.
- Prepare and review design plans, including layouts, drawings, and blueprints.
- Update and maintain design documentation and records.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on design-related matters.
- Assist in troubleshooting design issues and suggest improvements.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D; Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar.
- 4+ years of CADD experience in civil engineering profession or equivalent experience in educational setting.
- Strong understanding of design principles and engineering
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Eagerness to learn and evolve within a fast-paced environment
