Can-Tech Services is looking for a Quality Technician for one of our reputable Manufacturing clients in Vaughan.
Our client is a leading manufacturer that develops customized high-performance HVAC systems for vehicles and machinery in construction, agriculture, forestry, mining, material handling and utility vehicle industries, making the driest or wettest surroundings and the most extreme hot or cold weather unnoticeable. Their premium products are relied upon to provide a comfortable climate, exceeding our customers' expectations.
Position Type: Permanent/Full-Time (Monday to Friday).

PAY RATE: $25 -- $30 per hour.
EDUCATION:
- College Diploma in Technology or Engineering Degree
- Certified (Quality) Technician or Certified Engineering Technologist an asset
EXPERIENCE:
- 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in the HVAC field an asset
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
- Microsoft Office 365. MRP Software (PdMain) an asset
- Able to read drawings/specifications/ technical documents
- Familiar with tools, testing, and calibration equipment
- Good communication skills (written and spoken)
- Experience supporting ISO quality and environmental programs (ISO9001, ISO14001) an asset
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Quality Technician will mainly focus on calibration and tool maintenance and front-line quality issues at the facility. The Quality Technician will:
- Manage the production equipment calibration program/database for all the company's plants (in Canada)
- Suggest \& implement improvements to current calibration process(s) / work instructions
- Use Statistical analysis to verify equipment capability where required
- Support Dept. Change Management program (PCR/Deviations)
- Involved in Product, Process and Environmental audits
- Manage/update SDS/MSDS databases
- Plant Nonconforming Material processing /Support Supplier returns
- Support Line calls / First Piece Inspections
- Hazardous waste and spill kit program support
- Additional tasks as assigned
