HAYS Vancouver has partnered with an amazing client to recruit their next Transport Supervisor. This role requires a deep understanding of the Class 1 driving license in BC and AB. Please take a look at the following job description:Your ResponsibilitiesOversee routing and scheduling of transportation operations.
Manage and coordinate hired trucks. Optimize routes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
Monitor and report on transportation performance metrics. Your Profile2-4 years of supervisory experience. Strong, influential leadership and engaging communication skills.
A strong and personable personality. Health and safety experience and knowledge (this person will be the H\&S Lead for the company). Ability to confidently lead a team of 22-27 truck drivers and keep reports of their hours, schedules, and KPIs.
Class 1 license.
