Pay rate: $87.76/hour.
Location: Burnaby, BC
Shifts: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
Job type: 12-month contract | Full-time

New and quicker onboarding process
Develop direct and indirect cost estimates for large-scale utility projects during all project phases (Planning to Implementation).
Prepare and manage project schedules and work breakdown structures, ensuring alignment with contracting plans.
Review, coordinate, and validate estimates prepared by other team members and external consultants.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to prepare cost data for regulatory submissions and executive reviews.
Support tendering processes, including reviewing contract specifications for bid-ability and supporting contract payment schedules.
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members and consultants.
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Civil preferred, with Electrical strongly favored).
Registration or eligibility with Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (EGBC).
A minimum of 8 years of engineering and construction experience, with at least 4 years in heavy industrial estimating.
Proven experience with $100M+ utility projects, especially in transmission and substation environments.
Strong knowledge of estimating software, MS Office, and experience with Monte Carlo simulations is preferred.
Outstanding communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Must reside within commuting distance of Burnaby, BC.
