We are hiring a full-time Baker for a well-established bakery in Ontario, Canada. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods including breads, cakes, pastries, and cookies
- Ensure all recipes and quality standards are followed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery and equipment
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
- Follow food safety and sanitation protocols
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the bakery
- Assist in the creation of new recipes and seasonal products
Work Schedule
- Full-time role with 8-hour shifts
- Flexible availability required (morning, afternoon, evening shifts)
- Weekends and holidays as needed
Who Should Apply?
Candidates Inside Canada:
- Currently on a valid PGWP, SOWP, or BOWP
- Minimum 6 months of baking experience in a commercial kitchen or bakery
- Located in or willing to relocate to Ontario or nearby areas
International Applicants:
- Minimum 3 years of full-time baking experience in a commercial setting
- Francophone candidates welcome (French not required)
- Must be eligible for LMIA or Ontario PNP sponsorship
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- English language proficiency (CLB 5 or higher)
- Proven experience in baking and pastry preparation
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
