JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Support Manager to join a dynamic team at one of the Top 5 Canadian Banks. The ideal candidate will possess a mix of technical and leadership skills, with a strong background in incident management and root cause analysis. Experience in the banking and financial sectors, particularly with cards, is a plus. Responsibilities: Lead and manage the Application Development team alongside the Director of Application Development to ensure timely resolution of incidents and issues. Oversee incident management processes, including identification, investigation, and resolution of production issues. Conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of issues and improve system reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and enhancements. Monitor and analyze system performance using tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace. Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Provide technical guidance and support for Java J2EE applications. Manage and support Azure cloud infrastructure.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Qualifications: Proven experience in a production support or similar role. Strong leadership and team management skills.
Technical expertise in Java J2EE, Splunk, Dynatrace, and Azure.
Experience in incident management and root cause analysis.
Background in banking/financial services, with cards experience being a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
