Description : 💼 A DAY IN THE LIFE
- The Senior Accountant will fulfill a diverse role with many responsibilities, including, but not limited to, the following:
- Maintain working paper schedules and complete month-end procedures in an accurate and timely manner
- Review and approve bank reconciliations, general journal entries and validating with supporting documents prepared by Accountants
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for the month-end meeting with Corporate Controller, FP\&A, and CFO
- Assist with preparation of year-end audit requests
- Create the year end financial statements, including updating financial notes and schedules.
- Supervise and provide training to Accountants on full-cycle accounting tasks as needed
- Review revenue calculations on a semi-monthly basis prior to processing
- Support team with ad-hoc requests
🎯 WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Designated CPA (or close to completion)
- 3-5 years of accounting experience
- Solid understanding of ASPE and/or US GAAP
- Detail-oriented
- Adaptable and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks independently and meet strict deadlines
- Public practice experience is preferred
- Proficiency in Netsuite is an asset
💰 COMPENSATION \& BENEFITS

Salary $67,000 - $80,000 per annum (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).
