Post secondary education in a construction related filed, or the equivalent work-related experience is an asset.

Minimum 5 years in heavy civil construction landscaping experience, preferably in LRT or similar public infrastructure projects.

Proficient in Computer. Capable in handling computer-related tasks is preferable.

Good problem-solver, lead by example and respond to urgent requests in a timely manner.

Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Good understanding of plant biology inclusive of local plant and vegetation, pest management, irrigation systems, and landscape design.

Knowledge in City of Edmonton specification and regulations for landscaping is an asset.

Knowledge in Structural Soil Cell installation and operations is advantageous.

Valid Class 5 license

Ability to negotiate the terrain of an in-process construction site, including climbing stairs and ladders, steep/ slippery terrain, walking, and working outdoors in all types of Edmonton weather and conditions.
