Title: Senior Software Operations ManagerLocation: Toronto, ON (Hybrid -- 80% onsite)Type: Full-Time / PermanentWe're hiring a Senior Software Operations Manager to lead a dynamic, cross-functional team driving software deployments, incident resolution, and end-to-end client delivery. You'll oversee a group of incident managers and deployment engineers, manage key stakeholder relationships, and take ownership of both current software challenges and future enhancements. Reporting directly to the Director of Service Operations, you'll play a strategic role in shaping the direction of software delivery and elevating the overall customer experience.
What you'll do:Manage and mentor a diverse team: Deployment Engineers, Incident Managers, and a Deployment Manager (5--6 total). Oversee software releases, maintenance patches, and incident responses under existing SLAs. Drive change management initiatives for large-scale clients.
Collaborate with internal teams and external 3rd party vendors for seamless service delivery. Prioritize product backlog items and coordinate with Scrum and Dev teams to support effective software rollouts. What you bring:Strong people leadership -- you're great at managing both independent senior staff and energetic junior team members.
Hands-on experience in software operations, release planning, and stakeholder communication. Familiarity with Jira, Salesforce, and general SDLC practices. Bonus points for public transit or fare systems experience.
