Our client, a well-known leader in the industrial distribution sector, is looking for a Sales Manager to join their team in Calgary.
Responsibilities:
- Grow sales through developing, coaching, mentoring and motivating sales and support teams.
- Oversee a team of 6 individual contributors.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business growth.
- Ensure all staff are properly trained for their roles and the training is updated as required.
- Participate in establishing and maintaining the goals and objectives set for the branch.
- Work with various manufacturers to increase the sales awareness of specified product(s).
- Perform ride alongs with sales team to continuously build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Maintain open and positive communications with vendors.
- Monitoring and taking an active role with customer issues or problems.
- Conducting weekly sales meetings.
Requirements:
- Post Secondary Education is preferred.
- 5+ years of sales management experience is required - distribution is an asset, other industries will be considered.
- Proven track record of developing successful sales teams - ability to attract, retain and mentor.
Remuneration:
Remuneration for this role consists of a base salary of 110-120K plus bonus up to 40%, great benefit package, RSP matching, car allowance and growth opportunities!
