We are hiring REAL ESTATE LAWYERS
The Legal Services Division at the City of Toronto is seeking lawyers for two contract positions in our real estate law practice group. Join our team of 27 real estate lawyers as we work together with our clerks, conveyancers and admin team to support a broad range of projects that includes affordable housing developments, shelters, parks, community centers, and critical infrastructure. Applicants must be members in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario and possess excellent drafting, negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills.
MID-LEVEL LAWYER -- Two Year Contract
Salary Range: $128,976.46 to $173,414.78
(Salary commensurate with experience. Possibility for contract extension)
Ideal candidates will have 3-6 years of real estate-focused practice experience. Your resume should demonstrate an increasingly complex and sophisticated real estate portfolio.
SENIOR LAWYER -- Two Year Contract
Salary Range: $173,414.78 to $207,026.91
(Salary commensurate with experience. Possibility for contract extension)
Candidates for this senior level position will have a minimum of 6 years of experience in real estate law that includes a lead role in complex purchase and sale transactions, lease arrangements, and mixed-use development projects.
