What is the opportunity?
You will be responsible for supporting activities and processes that support the overall governance of the Target Operating Model. In this role, you will support documentation and reporting activities related to intra-group outsourcing arrangements. In addition, you will facilitate the gathering and analysis of data to drive better practice management and data-driven insights. You will also contribute to thought leadership around enhancements and practices in regards to the TOM.
What will you do?
- Manage the Target Operating Model documentation, ensuring updates are accurate, clear and timely, escalating as appropriate.
- Ensure alignment of program elements and local units' roles and responsibilities.
- Lead the documentation of the incorporation of any additional work that could be centralized in coordination with stakeholders (i.e. City National Bank integration).
- Complete gap analysis and execute on updating documentation to ensure documentation is robust and effective.
- Support and enable stakeholders at all points in the life cycle including self-identification of any issues and status updates, and sign-off.
- Establish strong stakeholder relationships, including ongoing communication, to ensure local Regulatory documentation is complete and accurate.
- Lead Global Standardization of approach and content.
- Maintain an inventory of all SA, IGA and Information schedule documentation including inventory library.
- Ensure alignment to Target Operating Model for program elements executed on behalf of the regions globally.
- Work with the regions and control owners to develop and deliver appropriate reporting.
- Support regulatory reviews and internal audits through project managing data collection and acting as coordinator.
- Ensure alignment with GRM Third Party Risk Management and Financial Crime regulatory expectation.
- Support any newly acquired business by RBC with integration into the FC TOM model.
- Support the coordination and enhancement of the reverse KYC process as it relates to RBC's FC program.
- Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives, as required.
- Contribute to Financial Crimes through supporting the maintenance of day-to-day activities, as required.
What do you need to succeed?
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to Financial Crimes.
- Knowledge of risk management.
- Very strong analytical skills.
- Very strong to exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational/time-management skills.
- Ability to effectively complete multiple projects simultaneously.
- Very good working knowledge of Microsoft suite of software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Advanced research skills.
- Business Knowledge.
