Job Description:
Duties and Responsibilities
- Junior engineering and analysis support; data collection, energy analyses, and project research.
- Primary and secondary data collection efforts, as well as data analysis.
- Conduct evaluation, measurement and verification (EM\&V) activities for installed energy efficiency measures.
- Support and assist with input for technical reports by contributing to draft reports, including results and actionable recommendations.
- Support senior staff with the development of presentations and reports
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Be a current student registered in a post-secondary STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, or mathematics) or business program in Canada.
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person who has been granted refugee status in Canada.
- Be legal entitled to work according to the relevant provincial legislation and regulations.
- Consent to release placement information to Electricity Human Resources Canada (EHRC) and the Government of Canada during and after the placement.
- Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment.
Preferred skills, education and experience
- Experience or education in energy efficiency
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent writing, communication and computer skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
