Company Description

Position Summary Duties:

Responsible for ordering, receiving, and pricing of merchandise
Performs merchandising and cashier functions
Organizes revenue-generating promotions to attract customer interest
Provides great customer service
Provide leadership, support, and guidance to gift shop volunteers
Coordinate the return of stale-dated merchandises and other products
Maintain the order and cleanliness of the gift shop
Perform cross-functional duties, within scope of authority
Perform other duties consistent with the job classification, as assigned or requested (BC Front/Business Office duties)
Requires lifting items or bending, such as cases of products greater than 15lbs which are sold by the case, merchandising/stocking cases of beverages
Requires standing 95% of the shift
Requires assisting with packaging and reconciling invoices

Qualifications

Completion of a 2-year community college program or Diploma in Accounting or Business Administration from an accredited educational institution OR equivalent relevant experience
One (1) year of related merchandising experience, preferably in the healthcare industry
Working knowledge of SAP and EPIC an asset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
Experience and interest in retail merchandising
Computer Skills: MS Word and basic Excel an asset
Willingness to work flexible hours and changing shift schedule
