Marketing Coordinator ContractThe Marketing Coordinator is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to engage Manderley's target audience, drive sales and achieve organizational objectives. This individual will lead B2B and B2C acquisition efforts through various channels with the objective of driving and attaining sales targets in sod, non-sod and new products and services. The Marketing Coordinator will oversee market research initiatives to drive strategy, grow the Manderley brand and support the launch and lifecycle management of new products, services.
What will YOU be doing as Marketing Coordinator? Design market research programs to determine threats, opportunities, and potential for competitive advantage. Analyze market trends to determine feasibility and profitability of new or existing offerings; make recommendations based on findings.
Collaborate with sales, production, and operations personnel to prepare sales forecasts. Develop marketing plans within budget requirements. Design and implement marketing programs using various media in support of organizational goals, with a value driven focus and attention to return on investment.
Develop and promote branding initiatives consistent with corporate business goals and objectives. Maximize brand value through the development of ancillary revenue streams and new opportunities. Ensure all products, services, and other offerings conform to brand identity; conduct ongoing brand management.
Determine pricing and profitability margins based on market research and other projections. Work with designers, writers, editors, and other creative staff to produce marketing collateral in accordance with brand messages. Collaborate with both inside and outside sales representatives to identify customer needs.
Provide support and tools to account managers and other sales staff that will drive sales within their areas. Prepare and deliver reports on the status of all marketing programs and initiatives to senior management. Design and attend relevant trade show and convention appearances in order to build relationships and promote the organization's initiatives.
Monitor, evaluate, and report on competitor activities; make recommendations based on findings/opportunities discovered. Communicate marketing initiatives with all staff. What YOU bring to the table
College or University designation in marketing, advertising, sales, or business administration, or equivalent. Work experience in a marketing capacity. Excellent understanding and familiarity with brand building and brand management.
B2B marketing experience with track record of success in a blue-collar industry is an asset. Proven history in creating and executing successful e-mail marketing, Internet marketing, and direct marketing programs. Direct experience with graphic design, Web page, and other marketing-related software tools Knowledge of ethical marketing best practices and associated regulations.
Demonstrated proficiency in Internet marketing techniques, technologies, and solutions. Hands-on experience with search engine optimization, pay-per-click advertising, and other Web-focused initiatives. Ability to build and sustain relationships with key business partners, including retailers, wholesalers, and resellers.
Strong knowledge of competitive analysis methods. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven team player who is both flexible and adaptable.
