- Restocking, cleaning, disinfecting, and transporting instruments and medical devices to and from MDRD; setting up clinic areas; turn over exam rooms;
- Patients support activities:
- Assisting clinical staff with patient related activities;
- Assisting clinical staff during Code Medical Emergency;
- Acting as a chaperone during patient intimate examinations;
- Environmental support activities;
- Transportation support activities;
- Other duties directly related with the proper maintenance of the Clinic.
Qualifications
- Completion of a secondary school diploma program
- Experience with housekeeping, portering and/or unit aide
- Evidence of ability to lift and transport heavy objects
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Evidence of good independent initiative and ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Good organization and time management skills
- Previous Hospital experience
- Experience working with surgical instruments required
- Experience working with endoscopy equipment required
- Experience in a teaching hospital environment preferred
