Position summary
Department / Research Program: Child Health and Human Development Program
We are seeking an individual with experience in promoting equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in research. They will be implementing the EDI plan for multicentre research studies and research teams involving all pediatric hospitals across Canada (POPCORN). They will also support a community of practice for Indigenous programs and services across pediatric hospitals.
General Duties
- Assist in the planning and delivery of EDI and community of practice activities.
- Assist in writing study protocols and manuscripts.
- Manage the procedures with the Research Ethics Board and Contracts Office (e.g. protocol approvals, amendments and annual renewals).
- Collaborate with national research team.
- Engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Design mixed-methods and community-based participatory research protocols.
- Administer questionnaires.
- Collect qualitative and quantitative data.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
- Conduct literature reviews (including systematic reviews and meta-analysis).
- Help oversee volunteers and trainees.
- Assist in knowledge translation activities.
