Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Stocker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the organization and cleanliness of our retail space, ensuring that products are readily available for customers. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers alike.
Duties
- Receive and unload merchandise from delivery trucks, ensuring all items are accounted for.
- Organize and stock shelves, ensuring products are displayed neatly and attractively.
- Maintain cleanliness in the stockroom and sales floor, adhering to safety standards.
- Assist customers by providing product information and answering inquiries.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient store operations.
- Operate a forklift safely when necessary to move heavy items or restock shelves.
- Perform cashiering duties as needed, including processing transactions accurately.
- Maintain inventory levels and assist in conducting regular stock counts.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply for improved customer interaction.
- Experience operating a forklift is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
