Our client---a leading law firm---is currently seeking a Marketing Specialist with a legal background to help drive the firm's marketing, communications, and business development strategy. This full-time, hybrid role (3x/week in-office; 5x during onboarding)reports directly to the Director of Marketing and plays a pivotal part in executing firm-wide initiatives while mentoring junior team members.
From campaign development and event planning to CRM optimization, social media strategy, and content creation, this role offers a dynamic mix of creativity and strategic execution. It's a great fit for someone who's proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about storytelling in the legal space.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating marketing content and distributing it effectively. You will help us create a strong brand presence with innovative promotional offerings, online and offline marketing campaigns, and marketing events. You will collaborate with the sales team to ensure that your marketing efforts support their sales efforts. Finally, your analytical skills will assist you as your monitor and report on the success of your marketing efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with the Director of Marketing to carry out the firm's marketing and communication initiatives
- Provide support and mentorship to junior marketing staff, reviewing their work and offering strategic feedback
- Lead planning and coordination of events such as webinars, seminars, sponsorship activations, and receptions
- Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, print, video, social media, SEO, paid media)
- Write and edit content for a variety of channels, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and tone
- Track and evaluate digital campaign performance and recommend improvements
- Oversee and fully leverage the firm's CRM platform, with a focus on transitioning to a new system
- Draft content for media outreach, press releases, and sponsored legal publications
- Collaborate with legal associations and professional organizations on events, awards, and sponsorships
- Stay informed on legal industry marketing trends and innovations
Qualifications
- 6--9 years of marketing and communications experience within a law firm is essential
- Proven ability to craft high-quality written content with impeccable grammar and attention to detail
- Hands-on experience managing or transitioning CRM platforms
- Familiarity with social media strategy, SEO, and digital analytics
- Strong skills in project coordination and event planning
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, and the ability to learn tools such as WordPress, Monday.com, Hootsuite, CRM platforms, Adobe Express, etc.
