As an Aftermarket Aviation Product Configuration Technologist, you will be responsible to provide technical support, plan and answer Customer queries. Your role will involve maintaining clear communication with stakeholders, and completing your work to high-quality standards.
- Ensure growth of Aftermarket Customer Support
- Research, understand engineering concepts and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical data sources.
- Ensure compliance, create, maintain critical spare parts attributes and information in SAP Material Master based on supporting engineering data.
- Identify potential risks and provide recommendations to mitigate them ensuring they align with organizational goals and practices.
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge \& experience:
- You have a minimum of a college diploma or civil, military training in aircraft maintenance, technical writer or other aerospace discipline.
- You have 2 to 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, operations, aerospace engineering or equivalent.
- You have excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- You have knowledge of aircraft systems, airframe and powerplants, discipline of maintenance practices.
- You possess good analytical skills.
- You can read and interpret Aircraft Illustrated Parts Catalogs, maintenance manuals.
- You are highly organized, able to plan and establish work priorities, capable of handling multiple tasks and can meet tight deadlines.
- You have the ability to inspire and motivate colleagues, cooperate and collaborate in a team environment.
- You have a strong customer focus.
- You have knowledge with MS Office systems and SAP systems.
- You can communicate well in both verbal and written in English and French.
- You are available to work on rotating work shifts (evenings, weekends, holidays, etc.).
