Strategic Management
The Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary invites applications for a Sessional Instructor to teach Summer 2025 SGMA 591 LEC 01. Classes in the Summer 2025 semester run from June 30, 2025 to August 12, 2025. Registrar Scheduled Exams will take place between August 14, 2025, to August 18, 2025, if applicable.
SGMA 591 (Strategic Management)- LEC 01:Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12:30-15:30
The calendar description of the course:
"Analysis of competitive situations from the general management point of view, including fit between key environmental forces and the firm's resources, and changes in these over time. Formulating and implementing strategy based on that analysis. Developing and leveraging a firm's core competencies to gain long-term sustainable advantage."
Qualifications
- A graduate degree (MBA, MSc, DBA, or PhD) or work experience in a relevant field is required.¿
- Previous experience with teaching at a post-secondary level is required.¿
