Purpose:
- The Talent Acquisition (TA) Intern assists with the day-to-day activities related to the attraction of the best talent for EQB. The intern will have exposure to data and analytics, reporting, recruitment marketing and branding, HR operations (including the management of HR data related to both internal and external candidates, recruitment and sourcing (including the use of a top-Notch Talent Management System in a highly integrated tech environment).
HR and TA Operations
- Working within the Lever Talent Relationship Management System -- housing candidate information, preparing offer letters, monitoring correspondence
- Working directly with our Background Check and Employment Aptitude Testing Provider
- Greeting candidates, administering testing and escorting to interviews
- Optimizing system interaction and documenting Talent Acquisition Processes
- Interacting with various stakeholders in HR including the HRBP and HR Operations teams
- Assist with record retention and removal of physical and electronic files
- Perform any TA administration tasks as assigned
- Handle all raffles/draws and charity donations
- Assist with benefits administration
Recruitment and Sourcing
- Assist with hiring -- various levels
- Resume screening and attraction
- Candidate and Hiring Manager communications
- Social Media and Recruitment marketing activities (Both on-line and in-person)
Project Work
- Participate and assist with various special projects
- Research various topics and initiatives
- Assist with events and fundraising
Reporting and Analytics
- Prepare reports and develop insights from various HR and TA systems
- Suggest new ways of using data to enhance TA delivery within the organization

- Currently enrolled in University or College Program
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Excellent record keeping and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Passionate about recruitment marketing and the attraction of candidates
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of all employees, pay and benefit information
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability and Desire to be on site at 25 Ontario Street

The incumbent will be working hybrid and in office time will be spent working from Equitable Bank's additional office space located at 351 King Street East, Toronto, ON.
