Sr. Cloud DevOps Engineer -- Contract
📍 Location: Toronto (Hybrid -- 2x/month onsite)
📅 Contract Length: 6 months with strong potential for 12-month extension
We're seeking a Sr. Cloud DevOps Engineer to join a high-impact team delivering scalable and secure cloud platforms across the enterprise. This role will lead cloud-native infrastructure design and automation, contributing to core cloud platform evolution while working with cross-functional teams.
Must-Have Qualifications:
• 5-7+ years of cloud development experience
• Strong experience with AWS CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, Node.js, and Typescript
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud services
• Experience with containers (EKS, ECS, Kubernetes, Docker)
• CI/CD experience (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins)
• Strong knowledge of Policy as Code / Open Policy Agent
• Proven ability to work independently and proactively
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
• AWS and/or Azure certifications
• Experience with serverless (Lambda, Step Functions)
• Familiarity with cloud identity management (IAM, Cognito)
• Background in Agile teams and hybrid networking
