Horizon Recruitment Inc . is conducting a search for an Financial Integration Specialist will support the post-acquisition integration process with a focus on consolidating and aligning financial statements, systems, and processes. This role will work closely with the CFO's of each subsidiary and the CFO of the parent company, This is a great opportunity to join a well established company with a strong foundation, growing rapidly through acquisitions and international growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead or assist in the integration of financial data from newly acquired companies into the parent company's reporting structure.
- Perform detailed financial statement reviews and identify variances, gaps, or alignment issues.
- Support the harmonization of accounting policies and procedures across acquired entities.
- Collaborate with IT, accounting, and operations teams to align ERP systems and reporting tools.
- Assist in the development and implementation of integration plans and timelines.
- Prepare consolidated financial reports, dashboards, and other internal reports to support management decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and corporate accounting standards.
- Provide post-acquisition financial analysis and insights to help optimize performance of acquired businesses.
Requirements:
- CPA designation (or in progress) preferred.
- 3 years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, or integration -- preferably in a multi-entity environment or Big 4 advisory.
- Experience with post-acquisition integration, financial consolidations, or ERP implementation is a strong asset.
- Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
- Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Effective communicator with the ability to manage cross-functional relationships.
