We are seeking a Communicative Disorders Assistant to join our centralized team providing multi-site clinic support based on clinic needs and volumes. This role will involve travel within Ontario and some interprovincial travel. This role is a full-time, permanent opportunity with the working hours of Monday - Friday day shifts(shifts can vary by clinic but are generally between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm). Candidates will be assigned a "home base" clinic based on their location but frequent travel can be expected and as such, candidates located in the Greater Toronto Area, Hamilton Area, or Ottawa area are preferred to be in proximity to major airports.

What it is all about:
As a Communicative Disorders Assistant with HearCANADA, you are passionate about the hearing healthcare of our clients. You will provide excellent customer service in assisting with troubleshooting and product maintenance, recognize and capitalize on sales opportunities through various mediums, and act as a HearCANADA brand ambassador in the clinics.

What you will do:
- Travel within Ontario and some interprovincial travel to provide support as a CDA in various HearCANADA clinic locations based on needs and volumes
- Support customers with basic product maintenance and care, and demonstrate/troubleshoot product features and benefits
- Discuss communicative strategies with customers
- Communicate with customers via telephone for appointment follow-ups, or reschedules
- Leverage knowledge of hearing aid technology and other assistive listening devices to make meaningful recommendations to customers to support hearing health
What we are looking for:
- Diploma in Communicative Disorders Assistant from a recognized post-secondary institution, or hold a Hearing Instrument Dispenser designation with the provincial governing body
- 1-2 years' experience in a similar role or extensive experience working in the clinic with hearing aids (cleans and checks) and customers
- Ability to articulate the specifications on hearing aid technology and assistive listening devices to a diverse clientele
- Superior customer service skills (in-person, by phone, or written communication) to build and foster relationships with our customers
- Ability to identify and maximize on sales opportunities (walk-ins, customer referrals, telephone inquiries, retention practices, etc.)
- Positively contribute to the overall company culture at HearCANADA and represent our values within the hearing centres, through client interactions, and community events
- Access to a vehicle is required based on the travel component + a valid driver's license
- Willingness to participate in frequent travel (up to 75%) within Ontario and some interprovincial travel, including some air travel
