What you'll be doing
You will join CIBC's Core Banking and Payments Technology QA team. As a Senior QA Analyst, you will be developing and executing test scenarios/scripts for functional system integration and acceptance testing primarily for single or limited multiple platforms. This role may include non-functional testing. Your responsibilities will include end-to-end test support and coordination, governance, and continuous improvement. You'll be hands-on with all aspects of the systems testing process and provide suggestions and input that will ensure client needs are met with the highest quality. You'll create test plans, develop strategies, coordinate with QA teams in other departments, and provide estimates that will help create the bank of the future.

How You'll Succeed

Testing Expertise --Lead the analysis and translation of business requirements into test cases. Design and manage end-to-end testing activities for various projects across the business. Use your expertise in software development testing to provide clients with quality products that meet business and system requirements. Develop and execute test cases, scenarios, and scripts.

Project Coordination --Identify obstacles or risks that may impact a project's timeline or success and provide regular status updates to the business. Keep the lines of communication open with stakeholders, and escalate issues when necessary. Ensure that all test deliverables are received, approved, and aligned to your project's timeline, budget, and objectives.

Collaboration --Analyze, define, and translate business and functional requirements, use cases, designs, and specifications into testing requirements.
Who You Are
-
You can demonstrate 2-4 years of hands-on experience in manual testing, as well as a pulse on innovative technology; You have proven experience in reviewing system requirements, writing and executing manual/automated test cases. You have hands-on experience in Testing tools i.e. HP ALM, JIRA. It would be an asset if you have experience in testing banking applications, specifically in the area of lending products. Prior working experience on Lending applications such as LCMS, CLASS, Excalibur will be an asset.

Nice to have skills: Working knowledge of Automation tools like Selenium and Parasoft SOA test. Experience in preparing automated test scripts using Selenium Robot framework would be an asset.
