About the Role: Senior Cloud Architect/Engineer design, delivery, and execution of integrated IT solutions
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable and secure cloud-based solutions to support enterprise applications and services.
- Lead architectural discussions and decisions across cross-functional Agile teams.
- Collaborate with IT, network, operations, and product SMEs to analyze and optimize systems performance.
- Develop strategies for system monitoring, anomaly detection, and continuous service improvement.
- Support the deployment and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, ensuring alignment with DevOps and CI/CD best practices.
- Guide secure software development practices and support efforts in system hardening and compliance.
- Contribute to root cause analysis and problem resolution for business flow and system anomalies.
- Provide technical leadership to Application Architects, Business Analysts, and Support Engineers.
- Participate in quarterly PI (Program Increment) planning sessions, emphasizing face-to-face collaboration
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture, software engineering, or related technical roles.
- Expertise with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and DevOps practices.
- Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with monitoring tools, logging frameworks, and performance analytics.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and lead cross-functional investigations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in Agile teams
Working Conditions:
- Type of job: Temporary Contractor - 1 year with the possibility to extend
- Work hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
