The Opportunity:We're looking for a Senior Commercial Litigator who also brings experience in estate litigation to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a strategic litigator to take ownership of complex files and play a pivotal role in shaping our litigation practice. You'll be leading files involving:
- Contract disputes, shareholder and partnership litigation.
- Oppression remedies and corporate governance issues.
- Will challenges, power of attorney disputes, and breach of fiduciary duty.
- Commercial disputes involving estates, trusts, and business succession.
What You Bring:
- 6--10+ years of litigation experience, including both commercial and estate litigation.
- Exceptional advocacy, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Comfort managing files independently and mentoring junior lawyers.
- Business acumen and a mindset geared toward growth and client relationships.
- Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
