Our client, a busy and well-established residential realty brokerage requires a part-time bookkeeper to work on site one day per week.
This position is replacing a long-standing bookkeeper who is retiring.
The role is ideal for someone only interested in part-time for the long term or who wants to expand their bookkeeping clientele.
Duties:
Prepare payroll for a staff of three, and prepare commission payments to realtors for closed sales transactions. Training provided on this function.
Reconcile bank deposits, Trust accounts and credit card statements.
Manage A/P including entering invoices and preparing cheques and EFTs.
Handle GST/HST remittances.
Generate financial reports (profit/loss statements and balance sheets) and assist with tax filings. You will also assemble year-end financial information to be sent to their Public Accounting firm for processing.
The entire bookkeeping function is processed through LoneWolf accounting package for which you will be fully trained.
This position requires a minimum of 5 years bookkeeping, and an aptitude for learning new software.
