About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will act as a critical bridge between business needs and technology solutions, helping drive data-informed decisions and streamline operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify opportunities, define requirements, and ensure the successful execution of initiatives that enhance business processes and outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct in-depth data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic business decisions.
Engage stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, translating them into clear and actionable functional specifications. Lead and coordinate Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) activities, ensuring timely completion and approval in compliance with data privacy standards. Perform gap analyses to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements in current systems, tools, or workflows.
Develop and maintain business process models, workflows, and visual diagrams to support clear understanding and communication. Analyze business operations to identify optimization and automation opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
Partner with IT teams to design, develop, and implement technical solutions aligned with business needs. Facilitate and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet functional and business expectations. Create and deliver reports, dashboards, and executive presentations that summarize findings, insights, and recommendations.Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and emerging tools and technologies in business analysis and data-driven decision making.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field. Minimum of 4 years' experience in a business analyst or related role, with a proven track record of delivering actionable insights and successful project outcomes.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear findings. Demonstrated experience conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) or a solid understanding of privacy and data protection principles is an asset.
Proficiency with business analysis and documentation tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, Jira, or Confluence. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences and influence decision-making. Hands-on experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders. Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other iterative project management methodologies is a plus. A proactive, self-motivated approach with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
