Position Summary
Location: Saskatoon, SK Schedule: Tuesday -- Saturday Start Time: Varies What You Will Do
- Reads maps and gives the truck driver the most efficient directions to the destination, alongside safely directing parking and backing up.
- Collects and transports deliveries from warehouse to designated stores and customers.
- Assists the truck driver in monitoring and servicing truck for proper operation, daily, informing the dispatcher or transportation manager of necessary repairs or safety hazards.
- Inspect cargo for damage, discrepancies, or irregularities, reporting any issues to the driver or supervisor.
What You'll Bring
- 6 months up to 1 year
- Less than High School, but has basic reading, communication and arithmetic skills to follow direction
- First Aid, WHMIS and or Forklift Certification preferred
Along With The Following Skills \& Competencies
- Superior customer service
- Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 160 lbs., with assistance, regularly
- Team Player
- Time management skills
- Ability to read and write to record pickups and maintain daily records
