Position Description:
The Department of Medical Physics and the Radiation Medicine Program at the Princess Margaret (PM) Cancer Centre is seeking interested applicants to fill a permanent fulltime position of Senior Medical Physicist. While the successful candidate will be part of the leadership team of Medical Physics at PM, the role focuses on leading the Medical Physics Department at Stronach Regional Cancer Centre (SRCC) as the department head under a partnership between PM and Southlake Regional Health Centre. The responsibilities include overseeing clinical project implementation, maintaining and improving clinical processes, facilitating interdisciplinary communication, representing the SRCC Department of Medical Physics in operational committees, guiding equipment selection and facility development, supervising new technology implementation, enhancing quality assurance protocols, and ensuring smooth operation of the support services.
