Your Responsibilities:

Create long term asset management strategies based on asset criticality and risk to the refining business
-
Develop asset specific preventative maintenance strategies, predictive maintenance strategies, asset lifecycle assessments, etc.

Perform Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and prescribe effective operational and maintenance tasks to mitigate specific asset failure modes

Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA). Analyze historical data to improve asset use, mitigate defects, and reduce the likelihood of failures

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of Reliability Engineering Processes and Asset Management Strategies

Develop and present reliability improvement recommendations to peers and senior leadership

Assist in day-to-day technical support for the refinery by providing direction to junior engineers and assisting senior engineers with technical tasks

Your Experience:
-
Post-secondary education in mechanical engineering, mechanical background, or equivalent experience. Other engineering disciplines will also be considered. Degree preferred

Minimum 5 years of experience with knowledge of complex engineering concepts, practices, and procedures. P.Eng. designation is a definite asset. Experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred

Experience working with preventive and predictive maintenance techniques and tools an asset, as are certifications such as CMRP (Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional)
