PROCESS ENGINEERROLE:Together with the Project Manager, coordinates the preparation of all process engineering deliverables for CEM Engineering projects and participates in project related decisions. Provides support and guidance to the Engineering team and the Project Manager in project related issues as they arise. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Contribute to the development of process engineering design standards, calculation procedures and other working tools.
During the Schematic Design Phase of a project, coordinate the preparation of the following:Conceptual DesignHeat and Mass Balance DiagramProcess Flow DiagramDesign BasisDuring the Design Development Phase of a project be actively involved in the completion of the following:Sizing of pumps, piping, valves, etc. Specifications for boilers, turbines, and related equipment
Preliminary General Arrangement drawings
Preliminary Piping ArrangementsSite plan development
Ensure that all designs which CEM takes responsibility for comply with relevant Codes and StandardsDuring the Contract Documents phase of a project, facilitate the preparation of the following deliverables:Process \& Instrumentation DiagramsHazardous Area Classification drawings
Coordinate deliverables required for Permits and Approvals such as:Environmental Compliance Approval (Air and Noise)Submissions to relevant regulatory bodies
Provide support to the Project Manager during the Contract Administration phase of a project (offering Home Office support to the Field Office). Assist with staff level planning and setting target manhours for work package completion.QUALIFICATIONS:PEO RegistrationProfessional Engineering DesignationExperience in the consulting engineering sector
Minimum 10 years of experience in the energy sector with a focus on process design (Heat and Mass Balance, P\&ID's, etc.)Experience in design of steam plants and combined cycle/cogeneration plants, and related heat and mass balance calculations
Experience with Hydrogen generation and combustion systems
Experience with RNG upgrading systems
Superior organizational, communication and management skills
