- Support the planning and delivery of large-scale, high-profile events sponsored by technology executives, ranging in size from audiences of 150 to 1200 employees. This involves close collaboration with executives, senior leaders, and cross-functional teams within CCBPT and across the enterprise, including designers and vendors, to deliver virtual and in-person experiences.
- Lead the development and execution for CCBPT-wide initiatives, activities, and internal communications, supporting strategic communication plans and delivering clear, engaging content. This includes executive communications, speaking briefs, event primers, blogs, storyboards for podcasts and videos and content for online channels.
- With oversight from the Senior Communications Manager, manage the CCBPT Engagement Committee including volunteers, the workplan, measurement process, and the planning and delivery of strategic events, initiatives and activities focused on building engagement and enhancing the overall employee experience. This requires strong collaboration and delegation skills, as you will interface with executives, HRBPs, senior leaders and cross-functional teams within CCBPT and across the enterprise. Responsibilities also include preparing and delivering presentations to the CCBPT Senior Management Team and executive sponsor on the outcomes and impact of engagement activities.
- Proactively research and bring forward innovative ideas to deliver engaging, multi-channel communications and experiences across CCBPT, including digital content, live events, video, and interactive employee engagement initiatives. This includes leveraging centres of expertise across the enterprise to adopt, streamline and improve communication tools and processes.
- Ability to facilitate between, providing advice and influencing key stakeholders.
What do you need to succeed? Must-have
- Degree/diploma and/or other post-secondary education (or equivalent experience) in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism or related field
- Communications professional with minimum 3 years of experience preferably in financial services or technology
- Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated commitment to teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Exceptional ability to simplify complicated information into clear, concise and engaging content
- Innovative communicator with a creative mindset, a passion for storytelling, and a curiosity to explore new formats, tools, and approaches to engage different audiences
